Correctdocs is operated by Manuel Ogomigo LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we” or “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through correctdocs.com and the Correctdocs service, and how we use it. If you have questions, email manuel@correctdocs.com.
This website
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Early access requests
If you request early access, we store what you tell us: your name, work email, firm name and firm size, which documents you chase most if you share that, and the date. We use it to reply to you and set up your pilot. We don’t add you to a marketing list or share your details, and we’ll delete them whenever you ask.
When you email us
If you email us, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply and follow up. We don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
The Correctdocs service
Correctdocs is in early development. When accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms use it, we process:
- names, email addresses and mobile numbers of a firm’s staff and clients
- the document requests firms send and the documents clients upload
- records of messages, uploads and checks
We use this information only to provide the service: to deliver requests and reminders, check uploaded files against the request, tell clients what to fix, and give firms their files.
How files are checked
Uploaded files are read by automated tools, including AI models, only to confirm that each one is the document requested and that it’s complete and legible. During pilots, a person on our team may also look at a file to confirm a check was right. Customer files are never used to train AI models, ours or our providers’. We only use providers whose terms prohibit training on the data we send them.
Text messages
If a firm sends you document requests by text message, we use your mobile number only to send messages about those requests, such as the request itself, reminders and notes on what to fix. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Correctdocs, such as hosting, email, text messaging and document-reading services, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing their service to us. We also disclose information when the law requires it.
Storage, security and retention
We store customer data in the United States, encrypt documents in transit and in storage, and limit who can access them. We keep information only as long as we need it to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing manuel@correctdocs.com. If you’re a firm’s client, you can also ask the firm directly.
Children
Correctdocs isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell firms using Correctdocs before it takes effect.
